B2B Sales Representative

$22-25/hr + 3% commissions on sales

Monday to Friday (Weekends if needed)

Location: Tacoma, WA

 

Summary:

 

The B2B Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with companies, municipalities, and other organizations, and developing sales strategies to ensure revenue and profit growth in their geographic territory. The B2B Sales Representative will work to serve B2B accounts via all of Work World’s current and future sales channels including retail stores, mobile stores (shoe trucks), and through B2B eCommerce. The B2B Sales Representative will report to the B2B General Manager. They will work closely with the B2B Customer Service team, Store Operations, and our eCommerce team; further they will work closely with our retail stores and store personnel to train and develop lead-gathering processes, and creating and running store B2B events. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible job.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management:
    • Partners with Store Operations to develop and follow through on new customer leads.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with Safety Managers and top decision makers at both prospects and key existing accounts.
    • Completes detailed customer profiles and plans and pipelines for both prospects and existing accounts.
    • Build win/win relationships with customers, ensuring that we outperform their expectations, while driving growth to achieve our sales and profitability plans.
  • Strategy Development
    • Works with B2B GM to prepare sales forecasts and reports showing lead generation, pipelines, sales volume, and areas of opportunity.
    • Develops and presents plans, programs, and strategies that ensure company meets its revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition/retention targets.
    • Collects data from Store Operations team as well as other market resources that shows trends and new ideas to grow business within our geographies.
    • Works with GM to establish and track KPI’s.

 

  • Marketing
    • Attends trade shows, cultivates client relationships, and always represents the company in a professional manner.
    • Works with Marketing and Store Operations to create “grassroots” campaigns for industry and existing accounts.

 

  • Sales
    • Effectively communicates Work World’s B2B program and overall service proposition to customers and potential customers.
    • Understands the unique issues and needs of customers within their territory.
    • Works closely with Store Operations teams in their territory to build an awareness and appreciation for the role that B2B sales play in our overall success and their responsibility for this.
    • Works with Store Operations teams and B2B Customer service team to “close” sales when needed.

 

  • Sales Administration
    • Prepares quotes (prices, credit terms, delivery, and service options) and sales contracts for new and existing customers.
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
    • Partners with B2B Customer Service team to quickly respond to requests regarding product availability, order placement, order status, and product information.
    • Enters new customer data and other sales data on new customers into database.
    • Works with Marketing team to keep promotional materials and literature (physical and digital) up to date.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above or comparable real-world experience
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in a commercial sales environment required. Strong familiarity with Safety Footwear is a plus.
  • Able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales with consistent target achievement.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer Literacy. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Netsuite is a plus.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism at all times.
  • High degree of personal integrity.
  • The employee should be based in California in a market with a Work World store. Frequent travel required to service customers and visit Work World stores in territory.

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
